Increasingly rare opportunity to buy an MoD reconditioned 4.2lt Jaguar J60 engine. Dry stored since release from reserve stocks and fully reconditioned to specification by UK MoD contract.

These were fitted to the CVRT range of armoured vehicles prior to the Dieselisation/life extension program carried out on the in service fleet.

The unit is complete, preserved from rebuild and comes fitted with ancillaries – Starter motor, distributor, heat exchanger, water pump and carburettor. The original test reports and conditioning labels are supplied as are hoses, wiring harness etc.

These engines have their genesis in the 1964 Jaguar XK and were used in various models for a multitude of classic cars.

Crated in an all-weather international storage/shipping container, with original wrappings and grease paper still fitted to the unit.
